Automatically Accept Payments for Apple Cash

Find your Apple Cash card info

  • On your iPhone, open the Wallet app, tap your Apple Cash card, then tap the more buttonthe more button.1
  • On your iPad, open the Settings app, tap Wallet & Apple Pay, then tap your Apple Cash card
  • For Apple Watch, open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone, tap Wallet & Apple Pay, then tap your Apple Cash card.

From here, you can see your balance, the Privacy Policy, and the Terms and Conditions. To make sure that your balance is up to date, you need a cellular or Wi-Fi connection.

If you're part of a Family Sharing group, you can also see family members who are eligible for Apple Cash Family.

If you're asked for a PIN

Apple Cash doesn't require a PIN because every payment is authenticated by Face ID, Touch ID, or a secure passcode.

If you're prompted by a terminal to enter a PIN to complete a debit transaction, enter a four-digit code, like 0000.

Latest Transactions for Apple Cash

See your transactions

  1. On your iPhone, open the Wallet app and tap your Apple Cash card.
  2. You see Latest Transactions. To see transactions by year, scroll down and tap Transactions in [year].
  3. For more details, tap a transaction, then tap the transaction again.

To see transactions on your Apple Watch, open the Wallet app, choose your Apple Cash card, then scroll down.

To see transactions on your iPad, open the Settings app, tap Wallet & Apple Pay, tap your Apple Cash card, then tap the Transactions tab.

Get a PDF of your activity

  1. On your iPhone, open the Wallet app.
  2. Tap your Apple Cash card, then tap the more buttonthe more button.
  3. Scroll down and tap Request Transaction Statement.
  4. Confirm your email address, then tap Send.

A PDF of your transaction history from the last 12 months, up to 11:59 p.m. PT the prior day, is sent to the same email address that you use as your Apple ID. You can also see information regarding fees that have been applied to your Apple Cash card.

Turn off Apple Cash on a device

After you set up Apple Cash on one device, you can use it on any eligible device where you're signed in to iCloud with the same Apple ID. To turn off Apple Cash on a certain device, use these steps on the device:

  • On iPhone or iPad, open the Settings app, tap Wallet & Apple Pay, then turn off Apple Cash.
  • For Apple Watch, open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone, tap Wallet & Apple Pay, then turn off Apple Cash.

To turn Apple Cash back on, you need to enter your Apple ID password.

Turning off Apple Cash in Settings doesn't close your account.

Close your Apple Cash account

Before you close your account, make sure that your balance is $0 and that you don't have pending transactions. To check your balance, go to your card info. You can transfer money to your bank, spend it, or send it to someone.

When your balance is $0, contact Apple to close your account.

  1. Go to your card info:
    • On iPhone, open the Wallet app, tap your Apple Cash card, then tapthe more button. Tap the Info tab.
    • On iPad, open the Settings app, tap Wallet & Apple Pay, then tap your Apple Cash card. Tap the Info tab.
    • For Apple Watch, open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone, tap Wallet & Apple Pay, then tap your Apple Cash card.
  2. Tap Contact Apple, then tap Call.

If you're part of Apple Cash Family

If you're the family organizer and you close your account, any Apple Cash Family accounts that you set up for family members will close and their balances will transfer to your account. Learn what happens if you disband the Family Sharing group.

If you're part of Apple Cash Family, the organizer will need to close your account. If you're the organizer and you close a family member's account, that family member's Apple Cash balance is transferred to your account.

If you're less than 18 years old and you're removed from Apple Cash Family by the organizer, your balance is transferred to the organizer and your account is closed. If you remove yourself from your family group, your balance is transferred to the organizer and your account is closed.

If you're over 18 years old and take ownership of your Apple Cash account, you keep your balance. Refunds and credits to your account that were initiated before you took ownership will transfer to the organizer's account.

What happens to Daily Cash you receive from Apple Card

  1. To send and receive money with Apple Pay or receive the Apple Cash card, you must be 18 years old and a resident of the United States. If you're under 18 years old, your family organizer can set up Apple Cash for you as part of Apple Cash Family. These services are provided by Green Dot Bank, Member FDIC. Learn more about the Terms and Conditions. When you set up Apple Cash, you can add money to your Apple Cash card from a debit or prepaid card. Then, you can use Apple Cash to make purchases where Apple Pay is accepted. You can also send or receive money in the Message app with Apple Cash.
  2. Apple Card is issued by Goldman Sachs Bank USA, Salt Lake City Branch. Apple Card is available only in the United States.
